ABOUT

Ow Yeong Wai Kit is an educator, editor, and writer. He has edited poetry anthologies such as From Walden to Woodlands: An Anthology of Nature Poems (2015) and Love at the Gallery (2017), both published by Ethos Books. His writings have been featured in the Straits Times, TODAY, QLRS, poetry.sg, as well as other publications and journals like Interreligious Insight and Think Pieces: A Journal of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. He holds a master’s degree from University College London, where he was awarded the John Oliver Hobbes Memorial Scholarship in Modern English. His topics of interest include nature and biodiversity, faith and religion, as well as culture and ethnicity. He is also an interfaith harmony advocate in the Holland-Bukit Timah Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circle (IRCC).
